A Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) position
Description:
Assists the building administration in maintaining a safe, orderly, and educationally engaging environment.
Location: Lochbuie, CO
Job Qualifications:
Knowledge, skill & ability:
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Must have ability to relate well with children and other district staff and community members
- Strong communication skills with employees, parents, and students; able to generate positive relations and morale
- Highly motivated and results oriented
- Ability to use district technology
- Must be responsive to the suggestions of administration
- Adhere to district policies and the strategic plan
Education/Training Requirements:
- Colorado Teaching or School Service Personnel License required; Principal License preferred
- Master's Degree in educational leadership
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching or school service personnel experience
- Work experience with disciplinary procedures and developing behavioral plans preferred
Salary and Work Schedule:
- $61,165.00 salary or higher based on 2025-2026 Licensed Staff Salary Schedule, MA lane, Step 4. May receive credit for up to 10 years experience for experience within the past 13 years.
