About OffCampusReview (OCR)
OffCampusReview is a new startup (9-10 months old) built to help students make smarter housing decisions through verified, student-written reviews of off-campus landlords and properties.
OCR was created and is owned by two Binghamton University Students: One current college student attending Binghamton University, and another recent graduate. We’re also backed by a third team member who’s a successful entrepreneur and a CPA, helping us build something real, sustainable, and built to last.

Why This Matters
As a Project Manager, you’re our beacon. A handful of honest student reviews can change housing at your school. Your contribution creates transparency that holds landlords accountable and helps make renting fairer long after you’ve graduated.
Your core mission:
- Drive verified renter reviews (the lifeblood of the platform)
- Grow awareness on campus so students know about OCR
What you’ll do
- Be the face of OCR on campus: table, pitch, talk to students, and get them to scan + submit reviews
- Activate your network: group chats, friends, clubs, class discords, orgs, team chats
- Run mini “growth experiments”: try new tactics, measure what works, double down
- Collect feedback: hear student pain points and report what’s missing / confusing
- Help build campus momentum: partnerships with orgs, student communities, etc.
What we’re looking for
- Comfortable talking to strangers, pitching, and being visible
- Socially active and plugged into campus culture
- Can execute consistently
- Strong communicator who can represent a brand professionally
- Bonus if you’ve done sales, marketing, tabling, event promotion, or campus org leadership
Outcomes we care about
- Reviews collected (quality + quantity)
- Weekly campus reach (how many students you got OCR in front of)
- Partnerships started (orgs, student gov, housing-related groups)

- Direct access to founders (Justin + Brendan) and mentorship/insight from Ben (CPA, entrepreneur)
- Networking with OCR Growth Managers and campus leaders across the U.S.

- Leadership track options (help lead a campus team or expand to multiple campuses)
- Strong recommendation letter based on performance & data
Qualifications
We welcome applicants of all majors. Many students are open to roles across industries, and so are we.
You’re a fit if you:
- Are currently enrolled in a college or university
- Feel comfortable starting conversations and being visible on campus
- Can follow through weekly and communicate clearly
- Startup skill-building: real startup training in growth, execution, and metrics, working directly with the founders.
Bonus (not required): tabling, event promotion, student org leadership, marketing, sales, or community building experience.
