Psychology/ABA/Social work internship

Responsibilities

  • This role offers an excellent opportunity for students pursuing applied behavior analysis to, under the clinical supervision of a BCBA, gain hands-on experience in the field through patient care
  • This role offers an great opportunity to psychology and social work students for client interaction/documentation/advocacy, under the supervision from clinical psychologist and a social worker who work with children on the spectrum  
  • The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment focused on improving patient outcomes
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with caregivers and other professionals
  • Complete other activities that are directly related to behavior analysis, such as attending meetings regarding the behavior analysis program, and researching the related literature as it is relevant to client's programming 
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Maintain accurate medical/clinical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Fill in for Registered Behavior Technicians for their breaks 
  • Be able to work front desk with a positive attitude to greet clients  
  • The ideal candidate will also help with material preparation for clients
