Project Accountant
Day & Zimmermann is currently accepting resumes for Project Accountant/Business Support Representative. This is an onsite position, located downtown Chattanooga. Full-time, benefited position.
The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll, timekeeping, cost/billing, and or accounts receivable/payable. SAP experience is a huge plus. Experience in an accounting role required. Ability to make sound judgments regarding documents provided for contract compliance. Good problems solving skills necessary along with the ability to multitask and work with multiple systems.
Responsibilities
- Run weekly cost reports and distribute to management
- Responsible for purchasing of small office supplies
- Pier diem compliance and compliance reporting
- Responsible for accounts payables for contract.
- Process Weekly client invoices
- Setup accounts used to record financial transactions
- Maintain files as required.
- Monthly processing, validating and reporting fringe benefits.
Minimum 2 years experience in related field accounting / administrative assignments.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $17,000- $95,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
