We’re seeking a motivated, curious, and creative Audiobook & Multimedia Production Intern to support our publishing and production divisions. This internship offers hands‑on experience in audiobook creation, voiceover direction, sound design, multimedia packaging, and digital distribution across major platforms.

What You’ll Learn & Contribute To
🎧 Audiobook Production
- Learn the full lifecycle of audiobook creation—from manuscript preparation to voice casting, narration, editing, mastering, and platform upload.
- Support production workflows for educational content, youth‑centered stories, and branded entertainment projects.
🎙️ Voiceover & Creative Direction
- Assist with script formatting for narration and voiceover.
- Help coordinate remote or in‑studio recording sessions.
- Support direction of voice talent and contribute to creative decisions that shape tone, pacing, and delivery.
🎨 Multimedia Packaging
- Integrate audio with visual elements for educational modules, promotional content, and digital storytelling experiences.
- Collaborate with design and editorial teams to build cohesive multimedia assets.
🌐 Platform Distribution
- Prepare and publish final audio works to platforms such as:
- Audible
- Spotify
- YouTube
- Amazon Music
- USAEV’s proprietary channels
- Learn metadata standards, platform requirements, and best practices for discoverability.
🔊 Audio Editing & Quality Control
- Gain hands‑on experience editing, cleaning, and mastering audio using tools such as: Audacity, Adobe Audition, Descript, and GarageBand.
- Support quality checks to ensure professional‑grade sound.
⚖️ Rights & Licensing Support
- Work with the publishing team to manage audio rights, permissions, and licensing documentation.
- Learn how copyright applies to digital and audio publishing.
📣 Marketing & Audience Engagement
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop promotional campaigns for audiobook listeners, educators, and youth creators.
- Assist with social media content, email campaigns, and platform‑specific promotions.

Qualifications
- Availability for team meetings:
- Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST
- Wednesdays @ 10:00 AM MST
- Fridays @ 8:00 AM MST
- SkillBridge participants also meet Thursdays @ 9:00 AM MST
- Studying or experienced in Media Production, Audio Engineering, Digital Media, Journalism, Film, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in storytelling, audio production, or digital publishing.
- Familiarity with audio editing tools (Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, Descript) is a plus.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and workflows.
