  • Coding Instructor – After-School Programs (Sarasota Area)

We are looking for passionate coders to teach after-school programming classes for students in the Sarasota area. This is a great opportunity for college students or hobbyist programmers who enjoy building projects and sharing their enthusiasm for technology with kids.

  • Minimum Requirements

Currently studying Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or have a strong GitHub/project portfolio

18 years or older

Ability to pass a background check

Intuitive understanding of fundamental programming concepts:

Loops

If statements

Variables

Functions

Enjoys building personal coding projects or learning new technologies outside of class

Note: We value personal projects and curiosity more than formal classroom experience. If you've built something you're proud of, we'd love to see it.

Experience working with children or teaching

Familiarity with:

Scratch

Python

Java 

 

Pay: $25–$40/hour depending on experience
Schedule: After school hours (typically 2:30–6:00 PM), flexible based on availability
