Event Marketing Assistant
We are looking for someone to join our growing Event Marketing Assistant team, which helps us run campaigns for our partners. We work with everyone from up-and-coming startups to national-level non-profits, helping them achieve their marketing goals and community initiatives. Your job would be helping us use our established marketing techniques to run campaigns with a solid team of brand ambassadors, making sure things run smoothly and keeping our clients at the forefront of their respective industries.
Responsibilities in this Event Marketing Assistant position include:
- Represent charity clients at community events, promotional campaigns, and outreach locations to increase public awareness and support for their missions.
- Engage with community members face-to-face to share information about charitable programs and encourage participation in fundraising initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with potential donors by providing excellent in-person customer service and answering questions about the charity’s impact and goals.
- Promote fundraising campaigns and assist supporters with completing donations, sign-ups, or pledge commitments.
- Support the setup, execution, and breakdown of promotional events, fundraising booths, and community activations.
- Distribute informational materials and clearly communicate the mission, programs, and initiatives of charity partners.
- Track donor interactions, campaign activity, and fundraising results to support reporting and campaign improvements.
- Work collaboratively with the event marketing team to achieve fundraising and awareness goals for each campaign.
- Maintain a professional and enthusiastic presence while representing the organization and charity clients at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed on campaign messaging, fundraising strategies, and event objectives.
Event Marketing Assistant Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience or study in marketing, sales, public relations, advertising, business communications, and related field preferred
- B.A./B.S. in a related field is highly encouraged, but not mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results while managing multiple projects.
- Level-headed problem solver with a professional service-oriented attitude.
- Superb organizational and tracking skills with great attention to detail.
- Team player who also excels as an individual contributor.
- Adaptable, dependable, and responsible.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts and sales strategy.
