Job Title: Part-Time Events Specialist
Company: Kids In Motion at Queensbury
Pay: $18-25/hour
Schedule: ~10 hours per week (Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons/evenings are a must)
Reports to: Branch Leader
Are you energetic, organized, and great with people? Kids In Motion is seeking a Part-Time Events Specialist to plan, promote, and execute fun, high-quality events for children and families in our dynamic gym environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage the events calendar (birthday parties, parents’ night outs, enrichment events, open houses, etc.)
- Plan, execute, and host special events (concept, setup, logistics, supplies)
- Deliver exceptional customer service and greet guests warmly
- Promote events to drive enrollments
- Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby and facility
- Coordinate with management and coaching staff
- Support daily administrative and front-end operations
Qualifications:
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional demeanor
- Customer service and/or event planning experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kids facility
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
