Event Operations Intern

Position Overview

The Event Operations Intern will assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of weddings and private events at 1840 Manor House. This role provides behind-the-scenes experience in event operations, logistics, and day-of coordination, working closely with the venue’s event management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including floor plans and timelines

     
  • Support event directors and operations staff during weddings and events

     
  • Help coordinate vendor arrivals, deliveries, and departures

     
  • Assist with client walkthroughs and pre-event preparations

     
  • Ensure venue spaces are event-ready and maintained throughout events

     
  • Troubleshoot operational issues during events as needed

     
  • Participate in post-event breakdowns and venue resets

Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field

     
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

     
  • Ability to work long hours on event days, including evenings and weekends

     
  • Comfortable working in a physically active environment

     
  • Professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills
