Legal & Compliance Intern
Overview
The Legal and Compliance Intern will assist the department by supporting key projects, initiatives and ad-hoc requests of Meeder’s Legal and Compliance Department. This is a highly collaborative position that requires working with cross-functional partners in order to effectively drive results.
Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong collaborator with the ability to partner with people across many parts of the organization
- Critical eye for detail
- Effective with the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel and Word
- General knowledge of investment management and investment company industries and regulatory environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
Applicant Requirements
- Must be a recent college graduate or a rising Junior or Senior
- Desired major – Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Political Science or related field
- Interest in legal, compliance and regulatory aspects of the investment management industry
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Resume
- Ability to independently secure housing
- Interest in investment compliance monitoring processes and related system integrations (Bloomberg)
Additional Information
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Program Timing: June 1, 2026 – August 14, 2026. Upon request, Meeder may offer flexibility on start & end dates.
