Youth & Family Minister
The Youth & Family Minister is a vital member of the leadership team at Grace Christian Church. This role is designed for a leader who is passionate about making disciples of the next generation and partnering with parents. You will provide strategic oversight for our Children’s Ministry and hands-on leadership for our Student Ministry, ensuring a seamless spiritual transition for kids as they grow.

Key Responsibilities
Children’s Ministry (Oversight & Administration)
- Volunteer Leadership: Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers; empower "Lead Teachers" to ensure every classroom is a safe, high-quality environment.
- Curriculum & Logistics: Select and implement biblically-based curriculum; manage all supplies and classroom preparation.
- Safety & Security: Rigorously maintain child protection policies and secure check-in/check-out procedures.
- Events: Lead the planning and execution of major outreach events (e.g., VBS, Christmas programs, or community festivals).
Student Ministry (Direct Leadership)
- Teaching: Serve as the primary teacher for 6th–12th grade gatherings, delivering engaging, Scripture-focused messages.
- Mentorship: Build a presence in the lives of students by attending games, performances, and school events to build trust outside the church walls.
- Planning: Design and execute a calendar of retreats, service projects, and social events that deepen student fellowship.
Administrative & Pastoral Duties
- Stewardship: Manage the ministry budget, maintain accurate records of purchases, and oversee the student/family database.
General Ministry: Assist the Senior Minister in pastoral duties as needed (e.g., Sunday morning hospitality, visitations, or participation in the worship service).
