General Education - Sciences Instructor
Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor in the General Education - Sciences area. This individual will offer instruction in the fields of Biology, Chemistry and Physical Science beginning with the Fall 2026 semester.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in the subject matter field OR
- Master’s Degree in any other field with at least 18 credit hours in the subject matter field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Kansas Teaching Certificate is not required; however, teaching experience is preferred
Salary and Benefits:
- Full-time, 9-month position
- A competitive salary range of $40,000-$54,000, commensurate with experience and education level
- KPERS retirement plan
- Employer-paid health insurance for the employee
- Annual salary is distributed over 12 months
- Flexible teaching schedule
