Engineering Intern
Control Vision, Inc. specializes in creating optical sensors for challenging environments and applications including 3D optical profilometry and metrology, optical imaging of high luminosity / high temperature processes, remote sensing, and the related mechanical design and controls for industrial, aerospace, and defense customers.
The intern will be involved in a wide variety of engagements that will work closely with engineers and support a wide range of engineering disciplines as required.
Your Responsibilities:
The role is created for Engineering studies students with an interest in gaining experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment for a short period of time. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Perform testing on Circuit Card Assemblies
Resolve technical problems assigned
Analyze system and component failures
Generate drawings (assembly, schematic, parts list)
Generate comprehensive technical reports on various topics as requested
Basic Qualifications and Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an emphasis in Engineering or a related field.
Student GPA should be (3+ out of 4) or (4+ out of 5).
Desired Skills:
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
Solid organizational skills
Experience working in a team to quickly address challenges
