Part Time Lifeguard

As a Lifeguard, you will be proficient in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid providing a safe environment in the Aquatic Center at the RecPlex.

Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies Able to perform rescues per American Red Cross standards Active scanning and involvement during shift Maintain a clean aquatic center Testing chemicals (pH and chlorine) Attending mandatory in-services once a month to practice and improve lifeguard skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

American Red Cross Lifeguard with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification currently valid or similar certification from another nationally recognized organization like StarGuard.
Leadership and strong communication skills.

Special Instructions:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The University does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position.
