AI Tools Innovation Intern
We are excited to offer students the chance to intern or volunteer with the Women's Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) as part of our FREE AI Education Program! We welcome students who are eager to connect with governments and organizations to promote this initiative and collaborate on proposals for securing funding from corporations and governments.

The students participating in this internship will gain valuable skills and knowledge in several key areas:
AI and Its Applications: They will learn about the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, including machine learning, natural language processing, and how AI can be applied to entrepreneurship, business strategies, and social impact.
Proposal Development: They will acquire skills in crafting compelling proposals to secure funding from corporations and governments, learning how to articulate the value of AI education programs and pitch ideas effectively.
Government and Corporate Outreach: Students will develop hands-on experience in engaging with government bodies and organizations, learning how to present innovative programs, build partnerships, and advocate for AI education initiatives.
Project Management: They will gain project management experience by helping coordinate aspects of the AI education program, from organizing speaker sessions to tracking participant progress and outcomes.
Women’s Empowerment and Social Entrepreneurship: Students will explore how AI can be used as a tool for empowering women entrepreneurs, particularly those facing financial and technological barriers, and the broader social impact of gender equity in tech and business.
Networking with AI and Business Leaders: They will have the opportunity to engage with top AI experts, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders from institutions like MIT, Stanford, and Harvard, enhancing their professional network and learning from industry leaders.

Passion for AI and Empowerment: If you're excited about artificial intelligence and love the idea of using it to empower women around the world, this opportunity is for you!
Great Communicator: Whether you’re writing proposals or talking with organizations, you’ll need to be comfortable expressing ideas clearly and confidently.
Curious and Analytical: You enjoy digging into research, analyzing data, and using that information to make smart, informed decisions.
Team Player: You’ll be working alongside a fantastic group of people, so being open to collaboration and working well with others is key.
Organized and Ready to Manage Projects: If you’ve got an eye for keeping things on track and enjoy organizing events or tasks, you’ll shine in this role!

We require a minimum of 16 hours per week, which can be completed over two days or spread throughout the week. If your school’s internship credit requirements are higher, we’re happy to accommodate.
This is an unpaid internship that provides educational training and academic credit in lieu of compensation. The internship is structured to benefit the intern, with no guarantee of employment, and complies with the U.S. Department of Labor's and New York State's legal criteria for unpaid internships.
