The NMU Grounds Department is responsible for the beautification and up-keep of all the exterior areas of campus. As a student crew member you play a vital role in the maintenance of the University grounds and facilities. 

We are looking for a select group of students who can function independently, and as a member of a team, to complete tasks efficiently, safely and with an eye for detail. The duties and work environments are constantly changing, and no two days will be the same. 

If you like to be outdoors, can work between 6 am and 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, and have experience in general landscape maintenance or construction (or the desire to learn) we want to talk with you. 

Base starting wage of $13.75/hour

 ($Higher$ with job specific experience or skills). 

Summer student employees may be eligible for discounted  On-Campus housing.  Inquire with Andy Smith or the Housing Office for details.
