Age Requirements: 18 years or older 

Certifications or Experience Required: Safe Food Handlers Permit, experience in the food industry preferred. 

Core Responsibilities: 

• Report Directly to the Base Director 

• Stay within the given food budget 

• Work with the Business Manager for Food and supplies procurement from approved vendors. 

• Assist in menu planning including special diets and allergy compliance. 

• Supervise and assist with meal preparations and cleaning. 

• Oversee and advise the Commissary Director for all trail meals. 

• Maintain documentation to support Scouting America standards and local Health Code requirements. 

• Supervise preparation for all health and standards inspections and oversee inspection process. 

• Conduct periodic inspections of off-site food preparation areas.

 

Pay Starts at $750 a week; food and housing included.
