Backend Development Intern

The Backend Development Intern will help create and maintain the company’s backend systems, including web servers and data distribution APIs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Resolving data disputes from our classification that are sent in by customers
  • Scripting integrations with partner data analysis platforms
  • Building scripts for data encoding, feature extraction, and storage
  • Fixing defects in existing software, primarily in NodeJS and Python
  • Working with senior engineers to build and maintain APIs

What You Bring

  • 2 years of university education
  • 1+ years of relevant programming experience or coursework
  • Eye for detail in data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-motivator who thrives on identifying and resolving issues
  • A technical understanding of URLs and web protocols
  • Experience programming with Javascript, Python, and PostgreSQL
