Instructors / Camp Counselors for Summer Academic Camp
We are currently seeking to hire creative, enthusiastic, nurturing and responsible instructors and counselors for the summer of 2026 (June 22 - August 14).
Do you have an expertise that you would like to share with kids? You would make a great instructor! We have curriculum, lesson plans and training so we have you covered!
Are you a college student who enjoys working with kids? You would make a great camp counselor!
An ideal candidate would have:
- at least one year of experience working with children (for counselors and instructors)
- expertise and experience in the subject of instruction (for instructors)

- Visual Arts (Photoshop, Website Design, Digital Art, Painting) Teachers
- Counselors (age 18 and above as of June 22, 2026)
- Junior Counselors (age 16 and 17 as of June 22, 2026)
Compensation
- Teachers (varies depending on experience and expertise) - $17-$28/instructional hour
- Counselors ($16.50/hour)
- Junior Counselors ($12.00-$14.00/hour)
We Will Train
Job Descriptions:
Instructors - Provides high-quality fun, hands-on learning experiences for campers to nurture their interest in a STEAM topic. Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being.
Counselors - Plans, leads, and implements camp activities for children. Supervise children during breaks. Assists teachers and site director in camp operations.
About International Ivy:
International Ivy is a summer enrichment program for children ages 5-14, specializing on hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, arts and math. We have 9 locations in New Jersey - Basking Ridge, Chatham, Princeton, Saddle River, Scotch Plains, Short Hills, Somerset, Summit and Wayne.
