CAD Designer/Drafter Intern
Summary:
This position is responsible for planning, designing, documenting, and drafting while aiding Design Engineers and others as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Create sketches, part models, and assemblies in SolidWorks for a variety of Genesis products.
- Draft detailed Ulti-view drawings of machined parts, weldments, and assemblies.
- Complete all documentation required for each project as instructed.
- Work with members of the engineering and manufacturing departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Requirements:
- Pursuing a two-year degree in mechanical design and experience using SolidWorks design software.
- Experience with 2-D draftingsoftware such as AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and bill of materials.
- Knowledge of fabrication and machining practices preferred but not required.
