Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

Location Fully Remote

 

About us: X-Bow Systems Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team for Summer 2026. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, data analysis, and automation of data management processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a passion for finance, and an interest in leveraging technology to optimize financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Analysis: Support the FP&A team in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Data Management: Help automate data collection, organization, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data for financial planning and forecasting.
  • Contribute to special projects focused on improving FP&A processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields:
    • Finance
    • Accounting
    • Economics
    • Business Administration
    • Data Analytics
  • Strong interest in financial planning, analysis, and data management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and forecasting concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan).
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Python, VBA, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
