The Shopify Developer

Role Overview
• The Shopify Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Shopify storefronts — ensuring a seamless, modern, and performant online shopping experience.
• This role requires strong technical expertise in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, and theme customization, as well as a collaborative mindset for working with designers, marketers, and backend engineers.
• The ideal candidate has experience working within staging and production environments, understands the importance of version control and QA workflows, and can integrate Shopify with external systems such as Salesforce CRM.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3 years of experience developing and customizing Shopify storefronts.
• Strong command of Liquid templates, Shopify APIs, and theme architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with staging environments, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD processes.
• Proven experience integrating Shopify with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs and JSON-based integrations.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Headless Shopify setups (Hydrogen, Next.js, or similar frameworks).
• Experience connecting Shopify to ERP or fulfillment systems.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (GA4, GTM, Segment, etc.).
• Interest in wellness technology or consumer retail brands.
