Pricing Analyst

Job Description – Pricing Analyst

Location: East Windsor, NJ

Summary/Objective

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for executing processes and systems related to the management of customer pricing. The role involves conducting and managing the Bid/RFP process, maintaining pricing across internal systems and official compendia, and ensuring all compliance steps are performed in accordance with AdvaGen Pharma’s pricing policies. The analyst will collaborate cross-functionally to support accurate pricing, contracting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform competitive analysis and market benchmarking.
  • Prepare and validate pricing negotiations, administration, analysis, and proposals in alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Manage submissions of pricing proposals in the AdvaGen Bid Portal and obtain approvals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations in a timely manner.
  • Orchestrate pricing validation efforts, customer award/loss notifications, and new business opportunity processes.
  • Develop and recommend SWP, List, and WAC pricing in accordance with policy.
  • Communicate pricing data to Trade Pricing Compendia, State Medicaid Agencies, and Puerto Rico Product Registration Office.
  • Prepare bids, specifications, and customer progress reports.
  • Execute pricing amendments, new contract loads, and compliance documents.
  • Monitor and document competitive intelligence for pricing analyses.
  • Support Finance with customer sales deductions, rebates, and administrative fees.
  • Prepare financial reports related to RFPs, bids, and rebates.
  • Professionally represent AdvaGen in customer interactions while ensuring compliance and favorable terms.
  • Monitor purchases for contract compliance and performance changes.
  • Support efforts to minimize chargeback discrepancies and customer deductions.

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Experience in workflow systems, procedures, and document customization.
  • Familiarity with generic pharmaceutical business, regulatory environment, and terminology is preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong Excel modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with MS Power BI preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to organize and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Skilled in change management and process transparency.
  • Knowledge of records and data management best practices.
