Digital Photography & Visual Storytelling Intern

(High-Volume Coverage)

Title: Photography Internship – High-Volume Youth Lifestyle (Summer 2025)

Location: Lakewood, PA

Duration: 8–10 weeks (Summer)

About the Opportunity

Camp Weequahic is seeking a motivated photography intern to join our Media Lab for the summer. You’ll capture real moments across 50+ activity areas while learning how to operate inside a fast-paced, AI-supported visual workflow.

This is not a “shadow someone” internship. You will shoot daily, manage volume, and learn how professional media teams operate at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Capture 600–1,000 images per day across age groups
  • Learn structured coverage rotation systems
  • Work inside AI-assisted culling and editing workflows
  • Support major events and evening programs
  • Deliver consistent, well-composed, energetic images

Skills You Should Have

  • Comfortable using DSLR or mirrorless camera
  • Basic understanding of shutter speed and aperture
  • Familiarity with Lightroom or similar editing software
  • Ability to move quickly and stay organized
  • Enjoy working with children

AI & Platforms You’ll Learn

  • AfterShoot (AI culling)
  • Lightroom batch editing
  • PhotoShelter digital asset management
  • Structured metadata tagging systems
