Formulation Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype Development: Assist in the preparation of R&D batches or GMP batches for drug products under development.
- Sample Testing: Perform analytical testing and meticulously record results for drug product samples, including pH, viscosity, density, and physical appearance.
- Documentation: Maintain good documenting practice for all sample preparation, processing steps, and observations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate and clean laboratory equipment in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or under the guidance of a senior scientist.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of surfactants, solubility, and concentration calculations.
- Laboratory Practices: Familiarity with standard lab safety protocols and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to strictly follow complex SOPs.
