Location: Hybrid – Ann Arbor, MI (Remote option available)
Type: Paid Internship (Part-Time 10-20 hours per week), Conversion to Full-time

Position Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Intern to support our accounting operations team. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in gaining real-world experience in cloud accounting platforms like QuickBooks Online.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
  • Help migrate data and assist with system cleanups in QuickBooks Online.
  • Review and categorize transactions and support the preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist in preparing client reports.
  • Conduct research and support process improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with accounting team to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or willingness to learn.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills.
