Zoo Media is seeking innovative, impact‑driven Software Engineering Interns who want to build real tools used by creators, educators, athletes, and youth‑focused brands. This is a hands‑on engineering experience where you won’t just write code—you’ll architect solutions that power AI‑enhanced media, automation systems, interactive platforms, and next‑generation digital experiences.
Interns work across Zoo Media’s multi‑industry ecosystem—sports, entertainment, publishing, education, and creator platforms—developing applications and tools that integrate machine learning, automation, and real‑time data. You’ll collaborate with designers, content teams, strategists, and engineers to bring ideas to life.
What You’ll Do
AI‑Driven Development
- Develop and test custom software solutions that integrate AI, automation, and real‑time data analysis.
- Experiment with machine learning models, NLP systems, and recommendation engines for internal and client‑facing tools.
- Explore emerging frameworks and contribute to AI‑powered prototypes.
Full‑Stack Application Building
- Build front‑end and back‑end components for websites, mobile apps, dashboards, and interactive tools.
- Support UI/UX optimization and ensure cross‑platform responsiveness and accessibility.
Custom Tool Creation
- Develop internal tools for media automation, marketing workflows, and digital content pipelines.
- Contribute to proprietary applications used across industries including sports, entertainment, publishing, and travel.
Cross‑Department Collaboration
- Work with creative, analytics, and strategy teams to deliver full‑cycle software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, daily scrums, and Agile planning meetings.
Innovation & Research
- Support product R&D and test emerging technologies.
- Analyze competing platforms and build case studies to guide product enhancements and new development paths.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
- Interest in AI technologies, machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, OpenAI, LangChain), and automation APIs.
- Experience with GitHub/GitLab workflows, Agile principles, and API integration.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to experiment, iterate, and fail fast.
