Speech‑Language Pathologist / Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (Pediatrics)
About the Role
AKL is a pediatric therapy group focused on helping children develop effective communication skills. We are looking for Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) who are passionate about supporting children and their families.
What You’ll Do
- Provide assessments and treatment for speech, language, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs.**
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with functional, family‑centered goals.
- Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and other providers to support communication across environments.
- Document services accurately and in alignment with professional and regulatory standards.
- Participate in collaboration, training, and ongoing learning within the AKL team.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (for SLP roles) and eligibility for state licensure/CF.
- Approved SLPA credential for assistant roles, where applicable.
- Interest in pediatrics, early intervention, and school‑aged communication needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.

Schedule & Setting
- Flexible full‑time or part‑time schedules.
- Pediatric caseload in school‑based, clinic, and/or community settings.
Work Authorization
- U.S. work authorization required.
- No visa sponsorship is available; OPT/CPT candidates may be considered in certain situations.
