Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapy Assistant (Pediatrics)

About the Role
AKL is a pediatric therapy group serving children with a wide range of developmental, motor, and sensory needs. We are seeking compassionate Occupational Therapists (OT) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) interested in helping children build independence in their daily routines at home, school, and in the community.

What You’ll Do

• Provide pediatric OT evaluation and treatment using evidence‑based approaches.**
• Address fine motor skills, self‑care, sensory processing, play skills, and school‑related tasks.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and school teams to support functional goals.
• Document services in a timely, compliant, and family‑friendly way.
• Participate in team meetings, in‑services, and ongoing learning opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Current or eligible OT or OTA license in the state of Florida (or in process for new grads).
• Strong interest in pediatrics and family‑centered care.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliability, professionalism, and a growth mindset.

New Graduates Are Welcome!
We provide support, mentorship, and opportunities to gain hands‑on pediatric experience in real‑world settings.

Schedule & Setting

• Flexible schedule options (full‑time or part‑time).
• Pediatric settings that may include schools, clinics, and community‑based services.

Work Authorization

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• We are unable to provide visa sponsorship, but may consider candidates on OPT/CPT where applicable.
