The HKSTP Global Internship Programme 2026 offers young overseas talent real-world experience in Asia’s largest tech ecosystem. Programme Highlights

Graduate Internship Track for 2026 graduates and recent fresh graduates
 

Unique opportunities for 2026 and recent fresh graduates to kickstart their tech career in a summer internship with the potential to convert to full-time employment upon completion, subject to mutual agreement. 

 

  • Gain exciting internship experience in the positions of AI, Robotics and Technology Solutions / Life and Health Technology / Microelectronics / GreenTech, etc., at HKSTP, world-class research centres, or promising tech ventures
  • *Immerse yourself in HKSTP’s international talent community, connecting with start-up founders, industry leaders, and peers through career readiness workshops, Greater Bay Area tech trip (Guangzhou or Shenzhen, etc), and networking opportunities

 Programme Timeline

  • Application Period:  January – 15 March 2026
  • Application Deadline: 15 March 2026 (HKT 23:59)
  • Matching & Interview: February – April 2026
  • Offer & Visa Application: April – June 2026
  • Onboarding Arrangement: May – July 2026
  • Internship Period: 2 – 3 months during June - October 2026 (followed by full-time employment if mutual agreement by both employers and interns)

All appointments are subject to a visa/entry permit to work in Hong Kong. HKSTP and employers will support the applications for the required visa for student interns. Programmes contents and timeline are subject to change as when as the Corporation deems necessary.
