Position Overview

Heart Chiropractic & Wellness is seeking a motivated Junior Grant Writer to assist in drafting compelling grant proposals to secure funding for practice expansion, community health programming, and wellness education initiatives.

This role is writing-intensive and ideal for students pursuing careers in grant writing, nonprofit management, healthcare administration, or public policy.

Responsibilities

Draft grant narratives based on provided data and vision

Develop needs statements and program descriptions

Assist in budget justification writing

Tailor applications to specific funders

Edit and refine proposals for submission

Coordinate submission materials and deadlines

Deliverables

3–8 complete grant submissions by end of Q2

Clean proposal templates for future funding cycles

Qualifications

Exceptional writing skills

Experience in academic, persuasive, or technical writing

Ability to translate healthcare services into measurable impact

Self-directed and highly organized

Compensation
