Role Overview

As an Account Strategy Lead, you will serve as the primary strategic partner for a portfolio of clients, owning the overall direction and performance of their Amazon business. This is a client-facing role that requires a strong blend of analytical thinking, Amazon marketplace knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You will develop comprehensive account strategies, guide execution across internal teams, and act as a trusted advisor to brand stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end account strategy for a portfolio of Amazon clients, including growth planning, performance optimization, and quarterly business reviews
  • Serve as the main client contact, building strong relationships through proactive communication and consistent delivery of results
  • Analyze performance data across advertising, organic sales, inventory, and content to identify opportunities and develop actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with advertising, creative, catalog, and operations teams
  • Lead client onboarding and present strategic recommendations to stakeholders, including C-suite leadership
  • Monitor competitive landscape, category trends, and Amazon platform updates

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
  • Understanding of Amazon advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP fundamentals)
  • Experience in an agency, consulting, or brand-side Amazon role with client or stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be based in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Amazon analytics tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Brand Analytics, Amazon Marketing Cloud)
  • Background in e-commerce, digital marketing, or consumer products
  • Experience managing $1M+ annual revenue accounts on Amazon
