Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional medical, surgical, and preventative care while building lasting relationships with clients and patients.

This position offers the opportunity to work with both small animals and exotic pets. For those interested, additional opportunities are available to participate in our mobile veterinary service.

Responsibilities

    •             Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to small     animals and exotic pets

    •             Develop diagnostic and treatment plans

    •             Educate clients on preventative care and treatment options

    •             Maintain accurate medical records

    •             Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff

Qualifications

    •             DVM from an accredited veterinary school

    •             Eligible for licensure in New York State

    •             Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    •             Interest in exotic medicine (experience preferred but not required)

    •             Commitment to high standards of patient care
