Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals earn $70,950–$88,950 annually, depending on years of experience and licensure.

 

Overview

Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Kansas Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking full-time Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals to join our team at correctional facilities throughout the state of Kansas.

 

Lansing - Topeka - Hutchinson - El Dorado - Ellsworth - Winfield - Norton - Larned

 

Responsibilities

The Licensed Mental Health Clinician provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health care, including:

  • Intake screenings and comprehensive assessments
  • Crisis intervention services
  • Development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Providing individual and group therapy
  • Ongoing case management and coordination of care

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
  • Active mental health professional license in Kansas required
  • Current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening (or ability to obtain)
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness preferred
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance, where applicable
