Quality Engineer
Ficosa North America has been operating in the United States since 1995 and is committed to supporting the automotive industry. With its technical-commercial office located in Michigan, near Detroit, Ficosa has progressively expanded its capabilities in the NAFTA region, including the establishment of a test laboratory, CAD department, prototype laboratory, and an Engineering Centre in Madison Heights, Michigan. Since 2008, the company has operated a production plant in Crossville, Tennessee, contributing to the development and manufacturing of innovative automotive solutions.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cookeville, TN, for a Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will oversee day-to-day quality-related tasks, including implementing quality assurance and control systems, evaluating product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards, addressing quality issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Quality Engineering principles and practices
- Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
- Proficiency in Product Quality assessment and improvement
- Familiarity with Quality Management systems and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus
