CAD Technician
R. Joe Harris & Associates, Inc., is looking for a CAD Technician to join our team and support our licensed surveyors and civil engineers in producing accurate, detailed survey drawings for a variety of land development and infrastructure projects.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Draft boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, land title surveys, as-builts, and construction surveys using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Import, process, and organize field survey data.
- Prepare plats, maps, and legal exhibits that meet company, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with field crews, surveyors, and engineers to ensure data accuracy and drawing quality.
- Apply survey standards, layering, and CAD templates consistently across projects.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of survey data, coordinates, and legal descriptions.
- Attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
