In anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, MeebCo is launching a dedicated daily streaming channel covering the tournament. The channel will combine match analysis, cultural commentary, and fan engagement throughout the competition.
The Role
We are looking for a New York City–based soccer enthusiast and on-camera creator to help lead our World Cup coverage.
This person will co-host a daily live broadcast from our NYC studio, discussing matches, tournament narratives, team dynamics, and broader cultural themes surrounding the World Cup. The role offers a rare opportunity to help shape a new sports media format while gaining hands-on experience in live production and digital broadcasting.
Responsibilities
Co-host a daily live stream covering World Cup matches, storylines, and tournament analysis
Help develop show segments, discussion topics, and recurring features
Participate in editorial planning around key matches and tournament developments
Create short-form clips and social media content derived from the broadcasts
Engage with viewers and online communities during live streams
Collaborate with the production team to refine the format and pacing of the show
Ideal Candidate
Strong knowledge of global soccer / international football
Comfortable speaking on camera and participating in live discussion
Curious, analytical thinker who enjoys discussing sports from historical, strategic, or cultural perspectives
Familiarity with streaming, podcasting, or digital media production is a plus
Based in New York City and able to attend the studio regularly during the tournament
