Howmet Aerospace is seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Human Resource Intern to join our Cleveland, Ohio team. In this role, you will support the organization’s recruiting functions, particularly intern hiring, while also contributing to a range of general HR activities. This internship offers hands‑on experience in recruiting operations, candidate engagement, and broader HR program coordination.

Responsibilities:

Talent & Recruitment Support


  • Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and campus outreach

  • Screen resumes and help coordinate interview scheduling

  • Support candidate communications and maintain applicant tracking system updates

  • Assist with recruitment event planning (career fairs, campus visits, networking events)

  • Help track recruiting metrics and maintain reporting dashboards

  • Support employer branding initiatives tied to recruitment efforts

Intern Program Administration


  • Assist in planning and coordinating summer intern programming and events

  • Support intern communications and event logistics

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media content highlighting intern experiences and company culture

  • Capture photos/videos during intern events (as applicable)

  • Manage data collection for Summer Intern social media campaign

  • Collect and analyze post-program feedback

  • Help organize networking sessions, mentorship pairings, and final presentations

General HR Support


  • Data gathering and reporting

  • SharePoint development

  • Help with policy and process updates

  • Assist with various HR duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:


  • 3.0 GPA and above.

  • Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.

  • Prior work experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in human resources, business, or related, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.

  • Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
