Position Summary:
The position will be responsible for training and guiding new employees and will act as a shift supervisor to student team members at all times. The position will exhibit leadership skills and direct task training and will become an expert in all aspects of the operation.

Required Job Qualifications:
- At least 200 hours working with Residential Dining Services or 1 year of general food service experience
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Current employee at Braiden Dining Center
Essential Duties:
- Maintain professionalism as a supervisor and act as a role model for fellow workers.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers while promoting a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety & sanitation guidelines including building, equipment, and chemical safety. Along with adherence to all health safety protocols for food safety workers as described by the University.
- Ensure high quality customer service, i.e. answering questions, resolving complaints, working at all times to exceed the expectations of the customer.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
Upon successful hiring into this position, Supervisors must complete all required courses for Student Supervisors.
These training courses include:
- RDS Hospitality
- Workplace Safety
- Food Safety
- Difficult Conversations
- as well as the State Food Handler Course & Exam.
