Department Head (full-time)

MISSION

To maintain quality standards of inventory through shop-based company processes

DESCRIPTORS

Equipment Expert, Detail Oriented, Proactive, Accurate, Organized, Multi-Tasker, Analytical, Reliable

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership + Management + Accountability
  • Equipment management, including prep/de-prep for usage, maintenance/repairs, proper storage, and cleanliness.
  • Timely pull and prep of equipment for scheduled deliveries, as coordinated by the warehouse manager.
  • Maintain inventory of department-specific parts & consumable items.
  • Inventory management within the company inventory control system (Current) as a function of the Warehouse/Operations Process. This includes but is not limited to, all equipment scanning, updates to inventory/items, notes on item history/repairs, etc.
  • Lead training sessions in the shop for company staff in the use of equipment & troubleshooting of issues, as coordinated by the warehouse manager.
  • Task management, in conjunction with warehouse manager and shop staff, towards prep/de-prep of equipment. Requesting assistance from the warehouse manager, assigning departmental tasks/deliverables, and overseeing the accuracy of work done by assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Deep knowledge of equipment, and its usage, for a given department, keeping up with market trends, and ongoing expansion of departmental knowledge.
  • Must maintain the integrity of the equipment throughout company processes.
  • Ability to keep information confidential required.
  • Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, & attention to detail with high accuracy
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes or challenges
  • Computer proficiency (Google Apps, email, calendar, etc) required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. preferred.
  • Must have a clean driving record and the ability to maintain a driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with local routes and venues preferred.
