SEEKING SOPHOMORE, JUNIOR AND SENIOR STUDENTS IN EDUCATION, SOCIAL WORK, PSYCHOLOGY OR RELATED MAJORS FOR FUN, CHALLENGING, AND REWARDING SUMMER EMPLOYMENT
SUMMER RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANTS
DATES OF TRAINING: June 8, 2026 through June 12, 2026
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: June 8, 2026 through July 18, 2026
RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- living in residence halls and supervising high school students;
- organizing and implementing activities;
- enforcing rules and regulations;
- assisting students with academic and personal growth in preparation for college;
- professional role-modeling.
QUALIFICATIONS include:
- completion of at least freshman/sophomore year of college;
- leadership skills and ability to be a positive role model;
- ability to work as a team player and independently;
- good verbal communication skills;
- ability to demonstrate initiative;
- academic success in college (~2.5 GPA);
- willingness to work full-time with no other commitments from Sundays at 7 PM to Fridays at 5 PM;
- ability to relate to (or previous experience working with) teens from lower-income, rural environments.
