Machine Operator

Propelis has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator 1 or 2 in Waukesha WI

 

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus available for eligible new hires, paid in two installments and subject to company guidelines.

 

Shift: 3rd shift, schedule 10:30pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Friday

Pay: $21 - $22 / hour

Full time, direct hire

This is an entry-level role that requires NO EXPERIENCE in manufacturing.

The starting pay for this position is $21/hour plus $1/hour shift differential. Employees are eligible for two, 50-cent increases over the first year if they pass the competency assessments.

To qualify for the Machine Operator 2 position, candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or machine operating.

Machine Operator 1 – Education & Experience

 

High school diploma or GED equivalent

 

Machine Operator 2 – Education & Experience

 

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or machine operating

Previous work in a manufacturing setting preferred

Compensation depends on experience

Able to meet physical requirements of the job, including but not limited to

  • Lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Infrequent pushing/pulling of cart
  • Positioning material with the assistance of carts and overhead cranes
  • Standing/walking up to 8 hours per shift
  • Vision abilities include close vision in the inspection of the work

 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $21.00 USD - $22.00 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
