Project Manager/Estimator

Project Manager/Estimator:  Must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.  The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

 

The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing customer base and develop new customers in order to achieve growth in revenue
  • Create/present proposals outlining  scope of work to customers
  • Estimate cost of projects
  • Negotiate contracts with customers to reach profitable agreements
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience as construction project manager
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A team player with leadership abilities
  • Communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to conduct effective presentations
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management to projects
  • Thorough knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team; internally and externally
  • Ability to manage budgets, maximize profitability and generate future work through building relationships
  • Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project
