After-School Mentor (Part-Time – College Students Welcome)

Looking for a part-time role that builds real-world skills while making a difference?

Code Ninjas Stonestown is a great STEM learning center where kids ages 5–14 build video games, learn coding concepts, explore robotics, and develop confidence through hands-on projects.

We hire motivated college students from all majors - not just Engineering or Computer Science. Training and curriculum are provided. If you enjoy working with kids and want meaningful leadership experience and learn new things, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead small groups of 4-10 students
  • Deliver structured, game-based lessons
  • Encourage problem-solving and confidence
  • Support camps and special events
  • Maintain a safe, organized environment

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (tutoring, mentoring, camps, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and professional
  • Saturday availability preferred.
  • Commitment through the academic year preferred
