Director of Constituent & Support Services

A New York State Assembly district office in Brooklyn, NY – is seeking a highly organized, service-driven professional to lead Constituent Services operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-literate, and committed to delivering responsive, high-quality support to district residents. This role oversees the full lifecycle of constituent casework, manages service workflows, and ensures the office maintains strong relationships with community stakeholders and government agencies. The position requires regular interaction with the public and collaboration with internal staff across district and Albany functions.

 

Schedule:

Full-time, in-person (Brooklyn district office)

 

Salary:

$40,000 - $45,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

 

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in government, nonprofit, or community-based organization.

• Fluency in Haitian Creole required, including the ability to translate written documents and interpret verbally.

• Demonstrated experience in constituent services, casework, community relations, or public service.

• Proficiency with CRM or constituent case management systems required.

• Strong data literacy with the ability to analyze and report on service metrics.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to work independently and effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders, while supporting the office’s priorities and team.

• Availability to support evening and weekend community events as scheduled.

• Must be available to start immediately.
