Elementary Multilingual Teacher

POSITION: FULL-TIME ELEMENTARY MULTILINGUAL LEARNER (ML/ESL)TEACHER 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION: Coldwater community Schools- 1/2 TIME MAX LARSEN ELEMENTARY, 1/2 TIME JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY

QUALIFICATIONS: ● Must possess a current Michigan Teaching Certificate and must meet HQ teacher requirements ● K-12 NS Endorsement required ● Experience in teaching PK-3 grade band preferred ● Demonstrates the ability to design and deliver effective ELD instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, tailored to students at various proficiency levels. ● Awareness and appreciation of diverse cultural backgrounds and the ability to interact effectively across cultural differences. ● Exhibits positive communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills ● Possesses strong classroom management skills ● Willingness to consistently work with general education teachers to address the social and academic language development of multilingual learners
