We are seeking a passionate and creative Elementary Music Teacher to join our school community. This part-time position is ideal for an educator who loves inspiring students through music and fostering creativity in young learners. In the classroom hours are Tuesday-Thursday 12-3:00pm. Paid planning time can be done at home. Pay is dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing engaging, developmentally appropriate music instruction for elementary students (grades K–6)

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a lifelong love of music

Collaborating closely with our theater teacher to prepare and teach grade-level musical performances throughout the year

Supporting student creativity through singing, movement, instruments, and performance opportunities

We are looking for an educator who believes music is an essential part of a child’s education and who enjoys working as part of a collaborative, student-centered team.

Qualifications:

Passion for music education and working with elementary-aged students

Creative instructional practices that inspire participation and confidence

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Teaching license or relevant experience preferred
