About The Role
Alantra is seeking a highly motivated Summer Analyst to support its U.S. M&A and capital raising advisory business. This is a 10-week program designed to provide hands-on experience within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial investment banking platform.
Summer Analysts will work directly with Associates, Vice Presidents, Managing Directors, and Partners across sector teams, gaining meaningful exposure to live transactions and strategic advisory assignments.
What You’ll Do
- Support live M&A and capital raising transactions
- Assist in financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Prepare company profiles, industry research, and buyer lists
- Contribute to pitch materials and client presentations
- Participate in internal strategy discussions and deal execution workstreams
Summer Analysts are treated as integral members of the team and are expected to take ownership of deliverables while learning from senior bankers in a collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Current undergraduate student (rising junior or senior preferred)
- Strong academic performance in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- Demonstrated interest in investment banking or corporate finance
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
- Motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Develop and author pitch materials
- Prepare client presentations and deal documents, including but not limited to teasers, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations
- Conduct extensive financial and valuation analyses
- Build advanced financial models that help establish suitable capital structures, financial covenants, and sensitivity to key variables
- Produce comprehensive industry and company-specific research
- Develop marketing strategies, conduct buyer outreach and target approach
- Manage due diligence and provide transaction support
- Support transaction negotiations
- Participate in the recruitment, development, training, and mentoring of Analysts and junior resources
