Sales Representative

Sales Representative – Government & Assistive Technology Solutions

Location: Placentia, CA
Compensation: $19–$22 per hour (may be higher based on experience)

Availability:  Full-time or Part-time positions available

Founded in 1997 and based in Placentia, CA, US Computers, Inc. is a GSA contract holder and trusted supplier to federal and state governments for over 26 years. We specialize in customized computer systems, assistive technology solutions, and training services for disabled veterans and state rehabilitation clients.

We partner with hundreds of technology manufacturers in the U.S. and internationally and maintain contracts with 14 state rehabilitation offices, with continued expansion underway. Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and driven Sales Representative to support and expand our government and rehabilitation agency accounts. This role focuses on building relationships, identifying client needs, and delivering customized assistive technology solutions that directly improve lives.

This position offers valuable experience for candidates interested in government operations, public sector contracting, and long-term careers in public agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with federal and state agencies, rehabilitation counselors, and related partners
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate customized computer and assistive technology solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to processing orders
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Assist in identifying grant opportunities that support trial programs for assistive technologies
  • Maintain accurate sales records and meet performance goals
  • Support expansion into additional state rehabilitation offices and government contracts

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled college student
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Basic computer proficiency (email, Microsoft Office, general technology knowledge)
  • Interest in public sector sales, government contracting, or assistive technology
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow professionally
