What You’ll Do

  • Conduct outreach activities to connect with and identify potential students (tabling event, canvassing)
  • Attend fairs, community events, and other enrollment-related activities
  • Schedule and host school tours to showcase academic offerings and student life
  • Provide accurate information about academic programs, admission requirements, and enrollment processes
  • Collaborate with the Enrollment Team to ensure a timely and efficient application process
  • Follow up on student leads via phone, email, and in-person visits
  • Demonstrate knowledge of diverse communities and willingness to explore outreach opportunities within Colorado Springs. 
  • Support the Enrollment Team during application nights and related events
  • Other duties as assigned, the main ones being translating, collaborating in all school events, etc.

 

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly/Non-Exempt
  • $20.00 per hour
  • Seasonal; March - September
  • Part-time; Afternoon/Evenings and weekends; 10-12 hours per week
    • Includes at least 3 weekdays and 1 weekend day per month
    • Approximate Times: Weekdays 2:00 - 6:00 PM and Weekends 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (subject to change based on events and recruiting needs)

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish-English)
  • Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Availability to work one weekend a month, three days during the work week. 
  • Reliable transportation or access to alternative transit options

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and networking abilities
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Experience working in K-12 or higher education recruitment is a plus
  • Knowledge of customer service

 

Essential Functions

  • Ability to set up and transport event materials (up to 25 pounds), with reasonable accommodations if needed
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during outreach events
